He was loved and cherished by many people including: his pet Rowdy; his parents, Beryl Newton Stokes and Ethyl Parker Stokes; his wife Jo Anne Ayers Stokes; his children, Toni Stokes Marshall, Lauren Stokes-McClurg (Leroy) and Sandy Stokes (Karen); and his grandchildren, Meagan, Ben, Cady, Courtney, Chelsea and Sasha.
