He is survived by: his wife Alice Harrison of Leesburg, FL; his children, Kenneth, James, Mark, Daryl, Kathleen, Eve and Andrea; and his brother Gregory.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice at 2445 Lane Park Rd, Tavares, FL 32778 in Basil's loving memory.
