He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Smith and Dorothy Smith; his wife Patricia Bates Smith of Fort Myers, FL; his children, Debbie Davis (Paul) of Renton, WA, Jeff Smith (Christine) of Katy, TX and Jennifer Horbey (Jack); his grandchildren, Ryan Davis, Kristen Peoples (Brady), Taylor Smith, Julia Smith and Eric Horbey (Andrea); his great grandchildren, Jackson Peoples, Bryce Peoples, Olivia Peoples, Amelia and Elizabeth Horbey; and his son Greg Smith.
