He is survived by: his parent Margaret Shane Franz; his wife Barbara; his children, Stephanie Jones (Walter), Michael S., John B. and Fritz; his grandchildren, Natalie, Daniel, Christopher, Alyssa, Shane, Carter, Caroline and Cullen; his great grandchild Katerina; and his sister Maureen Franz Cull of Ft. Myers.
