She is survived by: her husband Miguel Tapia Lopez; her children, Luis Tapia, Miguel Tapia, Jose Tapia, Candelario Tapia, Lucio Tapia, Jeovani Tapia, Suguey Tapia and Cynthia Tapia; and her siblings, Luis Diarte, Alva Diarte and Angelina Diarte. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
