She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kalland and Carrie Johnson Kalland; and her daughter Jane. She is survived by: her husband Lee South of Bell, FL; and her daughters, Barbara Ward (David), Carol Winrich (Kenn), Sharon Vakkaria, Diane Hawkins (Frank) and Patricia Emmart (John). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
