It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Mae Watkins of Lee, Florida, born in Bureau, Illinois, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Heggemeier and Maggie Heggemeier; her husband Roger Watkins; her children, Lana Rae Nankervis of Cape Coral, FL, Larre Todd Pate (Gina) of St. James City, FL, Elissa Walker (Ronnie) of Mesa, AZ, Randy Burgess (Victoria) of Clearwater, FL and Terri McNeill (Don) of Waddell, AZ; her brother Donald Heggemeier; her son-in-law Douglas Christiansen of Concord, NC; her daughter Linda Christiansen; and her sister Donna Boehle. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
