We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2024, at the age of 79, David Dwight Worthington of Lee, Florida, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David Dwight may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David Dwight touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Worthington and Mildred Worthington; and his siblings, Edwin Geyer, Richard Geyer, Doris Potts and Charles Geyer.
He is survived by: his wife Cassandria Worthington (Sandy); his sons, Brian Worthington and Mark Worthington (Jennie Worthington); his sister-in-law Shirley Geyer of Cape Coral, FL; and his sister Susan Worthington of Hendersonville, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
