She was predeceased by: her parents, Peary Tomlinson and Alma Tomlinson; her husband William B. Dyess, Sr.; her daughter Linda Dyess Buchanan; her grandson Charles D. Buchanan, Jr.; and her siblings, Ruth Sherouse, Doris Guthrie, Erma Willard and Joseph Tomlinson.
She is survived by: her son William B., Jr.; her daughter-in-law Jeannie Dyess of Hernando; and her grandchildren, William (Shannon Buchanan), Jesse Dyess of Hernando and Rebecca Dyess of St. Augustine.
