Lorraine A. Carter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2021, at the age of 95, Lorraine A. Carter of Lecanto, Florida, born in Newport, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wheeler and Marie Wheeler; her sons, Larry and Russell; her husbands, Charles Cook and Richard Carter; and her siblings, Olive, Irene, Geraldine, Irwin, Wilma, William (Pete) and Johnny.
She is survived by: her son David Cook (Fe) of Hernando Florida; her nephew Chuck Cook; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Cook; her brother Wayne Wheeler of Newport Vermont; and her friend Linda Cook of Barton, Vermont.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service and burial are being planned for the spring or summer, when friends and family can gather safely following COVID restrictions.
