He was predeceased by: his parents, Donovan Carr and Mary Jane Butterfield Carr; his son Kenneth D. Carr; his stepson Mark Dice; and his brother Donovan Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Geri H. Carr of Lecanto, FL; his children, Richard D. Carr (Dena) of Cedar Island, FL, Carla Gray (Skipper) of Freeport, FL and Cindy Alvarez of Oxnard, CA; his stepdaughter Debi Dice Zakany of Lakeland, FL; and his siblings, Ronnie Carr of Lake Okeechobee, FL and Geni Thompson of Lawrenceville, GA.. He is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren along with numerous family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be considered to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in his honor.
