He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie "Arthur" Redding, Sr. and Minnie Redding (Pringle); his son Roger Alan, Jr.; and his brother William "Bill" Redding. He is survived by: his wife Karen Redding of Lawtey; his children, Marilyn Banse (JD) of Largo, Shannon Bridges (Kevin) of Lawtey and Ryan Redding (Rebecca) of Ft. White; and his siblings, Lonnie Redding, Jr. (Alethia) of Hampton, Jerry Redding (Carol) of Lawtey and Joy Beck (Ronnie) of Middleburg. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Madison Street Baptist Church (900 W Madison St, Starke, FL 32091). A burial was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at the Long Branch Cemetery (5500 Long Branch Cemetery Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32234).
