She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Hawkins and Lydia Hawkins (Beyer); her husband Lonzo Ray; and her brothers, Richard Hawkins and Glenn Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Padgett of Macclenny, Deborah Passwater of Lawtey, Joy Schiller (Jack) of Starke, Lydia Spratlin (Wayne) of Lawtey, Amy Head (Randy) of Gainesville, Steven Starling (Sherri) of Lawtey and Enoch Starling (late Katrina) of Enterprise, AL; and her siblings, JoAnne Benttine of Iowa, Nina Olsen (late Eric) of Michigan and Leonard Hawkins (Margaret) of Arkansas. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
