He is survived by: his wife Cathy Konkel of Lawtey, FL; his children, George Konkel, Jr. (Mary) of Starke, FL, Sharon Anderson (Rusty) of Lawtey, FL, Scott Konkel (Karen) of Lawtey, FL and Michelle Edwards (Jason) of Ormond Beach, FL; his siblings, Tim Konkel of Flanders, Elbert Konkel, Katherine Konkel of Flanders, NY, Joan Konkel of Tennessee and Mary Becker (John) of Manorville, NY; and his grandchildren, George Wyatt Konkel, Jensen McCall, Ricky McCall, Jr., Collin Anderson, Chandler Edwards, Rhiannon Edwards, Christopher Edwards and Andrew Holt.
