He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Gifford and Hattie Gifford (Jackson). He is survived by: his wife Mary Gifford (Shira) of Lawtey; his children, Adam Gifford (Amy) of Pulaski, Virginia, Benjamin Gifford (Angela) of Starke and Caleb Gifford (Serena) of Waxahachie; his siblings, Nancy Tilts (Bruce) of Ashland, Virginia, Donald Gifford (Lisa) of Bradford and Judy Gifford of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Gifford, Jr., Joel Gifford, Seth Gifford, Nathaniel Gifford, Tabitha Gifford and Jacob Gifford.
