He was predeceased by: his parents, Casey Dobbs and Christine Thelma Cundiff Dobbs; his wife Sharon C. Dobbs; and his son Charles Daniel Dobbs. He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Gatlin (Bill) of Lawtey; his grandchildren, Tiffany Young (Sidney) of Lawtey, William Gatlin III of Keystone Heights and Hollie Nichols (Evan) of Gainesville; and his siblings, Rosalee Carmichael of Branford, Frances Hardee of Keystone Heights, Terri Carpenter of Middleburg, Shirley Noles, Casey Dobbs Jr. of Jacksonville and Joey Dobbs (Tina) of Lawtey. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
