He is survived by: his children, Carl Griffis, Jr. of Starke, FL, Debbie Norman (Robert) of Lawtey, FL and Cathy Higginbotham (Randall) of Lawtey, FL; and his brothers, Lewis Griffis of Buford, GA and Percy Griffis (Norma) of Buford, GA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.
