It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Nugie Padgett of Lawtey, Florida, who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Crews and Annie Mae Bell Crews; her husband John T. Padgett; her children, Thomas Padgett, Charles Padgett and Mary Jane Johnson; and her siblings, Denvil Crews, Archie Crews, Wayne Crews, Annie Lee Smith and Shirley Crews Padgett.
She is survived by: her children, Ben Padgett (Elizabeth) of Lawtey, FL, Betty Fishburn (Jerry) of Lawtey, FL and Tammy Hankerson (William) of Starke, FL; her children-in-law, Ronnie Johnson of Lawtey, FL, Janet Padgett of Lawtey, FL and Marlene Padgett of Starke, FL; and her siblings, Joey Crews of Lawtey, FL, Carolyn Hanks (Michael) of Starke, FL and Louvenia Williams of Florahome, FL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
