She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Aaron and Jessie Aaron; her former husband Nelson Collins; her husband Ray Spence; her grandson Cameron Collins; and her siblings, Lorene Bryant, Allen Aaron, Earl Aaron, Bobby Aaron and Shug.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Collins (Sharon) of Rock Hill, SC, Glen Collins of Charleston, WV and Brenda Collins of Charleston, WV; and her siblings, Jeannette Belew-Silver (Larry), Ralph Aaron (Priscilla) and Harold Aaron. She is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
