He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Laslie Dorriety Sr. and Susie Chavis Dorriety; his daughter Tina Gavin; his brother David Dorriety; and his granddaughter McKenzie Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Dorriety; his daughters, Lisa Taylor (William) and Deanna Bentley (Jerry); his siblings, Johnny Ray Dorriety (Debbie), Richard Dorriety (Sherry), Gail Cotton (John), Linda Schiable (Robert) and Ann Lee; his grandchildren, Brandi (Jay), Tiffani (Mike), Joshua (Emma), Brett (Elisabeth), Garth, Shawna (Andrew), Tina (Austin), Mary and Austin; his great grandchildren, Elena, Kaylie, Aubree, Macie, Tye, Melisa, Sadie, Bailee, Averee, Harlee and Weslee; and his pet Sam.
