It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George P. Vitale (Lauderdale Lakes, Florida), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Vitale (Sicilian); his parents, Joseph Vitale and Josephine Vitale (Perna); and his brothers, Sam, John and Joseph Vitale.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Pagliarella (Carmen) and George J. Vitale (Joyce); his grandson Christopher Pagliarella (Jung); and his sisters, Rose Volpe and Catherine Small. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
