He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Krodel and Celia Krodel (Clark); his son Richard; and his siblings, Vera Ann and George F..

He is survived by: his wife Linda (Mautino); and his children, William, Karl and Natalie. He is also survived by partners, and six grandchildren.
