She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emily Redding and Edgar Campbell; her sister Joyce Johnson of Anchorage, Alaska.; her husband Hugh Lester Poole; her children, Hugh Allen Poole and Janit Velma Thomas; her grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Ethan Poole, Kevin Thomas and Chrysanne Hamrah; her great grandchildren, Patrick Thomas, Dakota Thomas and Ross Hamrah; and her great great grandchildren, Emmett Thomas, Delilah Thomas and Genevieve Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations, in Velma's honor, be made to a charity of your choice.
