We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2022, at the age of 57, Thomas Otto Scharfschwerdt of Largo, Florida, born in West Palm Beach, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richard Scharfschwerdt and JoAnn Studstill Scharfschwerdt; and his nephew Robert Stephen Ryder, Jr.. He is survived by: his fiancée Dianne Chesney; his sons, Daniel Thomas and Michael Steven; his siblings, Jim (Sandee Ryder Pruitt), Rodolfo (Linda Milani), Susan Scharfschwerdt Huszagh, William R. (Margaret Scharfschwerdt, Jr.), Steven (JoAnn "Jody" Strickland) and Jack Edward (Bonnie Scharfschwerdt); his aunt Frankye; and his uncle Tom Oiver of Waco Texas. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, and 38 first cousins.
