He is survived by: his close friend Keith Sargent; his niece Jacey Velazquez; his brothers, Douglas Ross of Columbus and Taylor Ross of Orlando; his sisters-in-law, Krista Hilton of Hilliard and Robin Ross of Deland; and his nieces and nephews, Bailey, Katherine, Tyler, Warrick, Parker and Chase.

“Keith, jayce, doug, and taylor, so sorry for your loss. Steve and i were friends from milburn, sm west. We reconnected through facebook, and it was wonderful to talk with him again. He was in my wedding almost 51 years ago! Loved my old hippy friend. We shared many good times. He was such a wonderful, loving man. He will be missed by many.
