He is survived by: his spouse Fior Gonzalez; his parents, Ricardo Cartagena Sr. of Middletown, CT and Angelina Laboy of New Britain, CT.; his children, Miguel Alvarado, Xavier Cartagena and Anjali Alvarado; and his siblings, Maria Cartagena, Marta Cartagena, David Cartagena, Joseph Cartagena and Issac Cartagena. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carlson Funeral Home (45 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
