Monize of Largo, Florida, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Souza and Margaret Souza (Schelter); her husband Walter A. Monize, Jr.; and her close friend Frederick C. Catterall. She is survived by: her son Robert A. Monize (Cathy Monize); her granddaughter Elizabeth Diles (Lee); her great grandchild Lexie Diles of Petaluma, CA; her brother-in-law Leonard Monize (Helen) of Port Charlotte, FL; and her friends, Lois C. Ayotte (Alfred) of New Bedford, MA, Barbara, Tillie, Greta, Donna and Mary. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Pauline's name to either the St. Martin's Building Fund or the St. Martin's Food Pantry Fund, 136 Rivet Street, New Bedford, MA 02744.
