With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nina L. Steg of Largo, Florida, who passed away on December 12, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nina L. Steg to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Joseph Steg; her brother George Löwy; her niece Leslie Steg; and her parents, Dr. Moriz Löwy and Dr. Franja Berlin Löwy.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. James Steg (Betsy Schlegel), Frances Steg and Maureen Buzdygon (Kevin); her grandchildren, Danielle, Andrew Steg, Lauren, David and Aaron Buzdygon; and her sister Melitta Lowy Garbuny. She is also survived by six nieces.

In lieu of flowers charitable donations can be sent to Suncoast Hospice.

“I worked Nina for several years at AIDI, in the rehabilitation division as her partner and chief from 1986 till she retired. What a great lady who always gave 110% for her patients.
