He was predeceased by: his father Frederick M. Pond; and his brother Matthew Pond. He is survived by: his mother Margaret E. Fisher Pond of Cape Vincent, NY; his spouse Su Ann Corbin; his sons, Michael E. Pond II and Christopher M. Pond (Zachary); his grandchildren, Michael E. Pond III, Kayden Pond and Brihana Judd; and his siblings, Betsy Austin (Kevin) of Odessa, NY, Mark Pond (Barbara), Lori Cain (Kelly) of Odessa, NY and William Pond (Amy) of Cape Vincent, NY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
