She was predeceased by: her husband George Thomas Merritt; and her son Christopher Shane Merritt. She is survived by: her daughters, Juanita Maria (late Reinaldo), Corina Theresa (Craig Richardson Sr) and Katrina Doris; her siblings, Theresa Vallier, Henry Heroux (Theresa), Leo Heroux, Mary, Gilbert Heroux (Delia), Victor Heroux, Albert Heroux and Marie Cecile Slusser; her children, Wesley Merritt (Kelly), Doreen Merritt (Lafayette Jackson), Corey Merritt (Dara Kaasa), Gregory Merritt (Erica), MaryAnn Merritt and Kimberly Merritt; her grandchildren, Reinaldo Jr. Ayala, Tiffany Ayala, Christian Ayala and Jose Ayala; and her great grandchildren, Samara Hodge, Maryam Bennett, Damian Burrowes and Adewale Adeniran. She is also survived by 4 siblings, 9 children, 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, gifts will be welcomed to help fund additional care for Kimberly who was in Mary's care up until her time of death.
