He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McVane and Florence McVane (MacGilvary); and his sister Mary Hallahan. He is survived by: his wife Linda McVane (Whitney); his children, Darleen Pina (Jonathan) of Wareham, MA, John McVane, Jr. (Kim) of Sterling, CT, Jill Compton (Kirk) of Danvers, MA, Bridgette Turco (Alex) of Haverhill, MA and Meghan Lampert (Keith) of Kansas City, MO.; and his siblings, Judy Cunningham, Mary Lou McVane, Virginia Alexander (Rick), Barbara Coulliard, Michael Joseph McVane, Theresa Moschella, Jean Fielding and Doris Doherty. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
