He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ella Zobel (Feyerherm) and Martin Zobel; his wife Margaret Zobel (Riethmeier) of Largo, FL; his children, Ann Simonet (Zobel) of Tours and Martin Zobel of Polson, MT; and his siblings, Sherri Poggi (Zobel) of Tenafly, NJ, Robert Zobel of Bancroft, NE and Gene Zobel of West Point, NE. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A two-time cancer survivor, he died of Covid at Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas Park, FL.
