He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Cooke and Inez Cooke (Prezioso); his brother Donald; his sons, Gary Jr. and Robert; his grandchild Thomas; his wife Pauline May Nixon; his son Thomas (Heidi); his siblings, Richard (Joan), Thomas (Diane) and Carolynn McLaughlin (Ward); his sister-in-law Eleanor; his grandchildren, Dylan, Hunter, Kayla Lundbohm and Craig; and his great grandchild Luke Lundbohm. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
