He is survived by: his wife Sandra Joyner; his children, Cheryl Fatu (Kele), Tammie Joyner and Brian Joyner (Dona); and his stepchildren, Darlene Atkinson, Pamela Berry (Mike), Randy Atkinson and Karen Loeffler (Mike). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 brothers.
