He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Kealey; and his brother Charles Kealey. He is survived by: his father Edward Kealey; his sister Mary; and his children, Kathy Melson (John), Jacquie Schreppel, Patti Olson, Donald Kealey (Mary) and Sharon Johnson (Joel). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
