She was predeceased by: her husband John Karafanda; and her parents, John Kopcza and Olga Kopcza. She is survived by: her children, Joann (Jerry Klaben), Diane (Rick Flynn) and John (Shannon Karafanda); her grandchildren, Ali, Sarah, Hannah Klaben, John, Shane and Dori Karafanda; her sister Joan Andrejko; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Karafanda and Mary Sack. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
