He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clara and Isaac Savitzky; his wife Edith Grossman Savitzky; his close friend Sylvia Katzman; his children, Judy Roth (Jay) of Palm Harbor, FL and Bob Savitzky (Lily) of Plainview, NY; his grandchildren, Greg Travis (Helly), Diana Savitzky Moss (Adam), Amanda Savitzky and Steven Savitzky; and his great grandchildren, Sienna, Cali Moss and Lisl Schick.
