He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Fortier and Marie Jeanne Fortier (Chardonne); his wife Delores Fortier (Fontaine); and his siblings, Paul Fortier, George Fortier, Jeanne Pelletier and Yvette Marble.
He is survived by: his daughter Joanne Nutting of Gardner; his brother Raymond Fortier (Rose) of Leominster; his grandchildren, Carrie Ciaccio (David) of Gardner, Ashley Nutting-Poirier (Andrew) of Westminster and Michael Lacroix of Punta Gorda, FL; his great grandchildren, Hope Parisi of Gardner, Jordan Parisi of Gardner, Madison Parisi of Gardner and Myles Poirier of Westminster; and also Valleri Brauer.
