He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Schatz; his children, Stacey Hofberg (Jac Gould) and Philip Schatz (Ellen); his grandchildren, Stephanie McKay (Brian), Ben Schatz, Ethan Schatz and Alec Hofberg; his great grandchild Brayden McKay; and his siblings, Warren Schatz (Marcia) and Barbara Krenzel (Jack).
