He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Reiling and Emelia Reiling; his former wife Carol Reiling; and his sister Karen Reiling. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Carol Palliser; his children, Kevin Scott Reiling (Katrina) and Lisa Hopkins (Brian); his grandchildren, Emma Hopkins, Abby Hopkins, Brady Hopkins, Jordan Reiling and Addison Reiling; his brother Kenneth Reiling; his sister-in-law Nancy; and his nieces, Heidi, Kelly and Tina.

It was quickly apparent to all who met him that he had walked with Jesus for a very long time. I saw Jesus in him. What a sweet brother. I’ll always remember him and the lessons he taught me. Well done good and faithful servant. My condolences to the family.”
