He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hedman and Madge Hedman (Rowland); and his sister Dorothy Paulson. He is survived by: his children, Roland (Amie) of Boynton Beach and Lani (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Tyler (Darby), Blake and Lauren.

In lieu of flowers make donations to The Marine Corp scholarship fund.
