She is survived by: her husband Albert A. Burlando; her daughters, Donna Quagliana (Michael) and Lori McMahon (Michael); her grandchildren, Nicole, Rashad Jones, Matthew, Brian Quagliana, Alexa Joy and Jenna McMahon; and her great grandchild Emerson Joy.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center earmarked Brain Cancer Research for Glioblastoma in Joy's name.
