With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Irene Woods of Land O' Lakes, Florida, born in Elkmont, Alabama, who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husbands, Willard Lott and William Woods; her sons, Gary Willard Lott, Michael Blake Lott and William Kevin Woods; her brothers, Marvin, Oliver, Lawrence and Horace; and her mother Willie Peek. She was also cherished by friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Ronald McDonald House, 1700 4th Avenue, S., Birmingham, AL 35233.
