He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard Dozier and Mary Dozier (Hoover); and his siblings, Lamar Dozier, Mary Esther Powers, Martha Carlton, Nadine Jones and Dolores Reams.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; and his daughter Karen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family wishes to thank James A. Haley VA Hospital/Hospice, USF Heath's Neurosurgery, the Medtronic DBS team, and Tampa General Hospital for treatment during his long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
