We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2020, at the age of 79, Emmett Sheffield (Lamont, Florida), born in Thomasville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his fathers, Luther Sheffield and Hoyt Kinsey Sheffield. He is survived by: his wife Myra J. Sheffield; his children, Michele (Rick Howell), Mitch (Kendra Sheffield) and Michael (Benita Sheffield); and his siblings, Russell, Harvey, Kenny Sheffield, Carolyn Reams, Helen Flyte and Joyce Musser. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
