He is survived by: his wife Muriel; his sisters, Sara Block (Paul) and Lisa VanSomeren; his sister-in-law Janet Kolk; his former wife Ella Mae; his children, Jeff (Sandi), Jami Beek (Randy), Kris VandeGuchte (Ren), Mark (Kristi) and Robin Kerkstra (Greg); and his stepchildren, Joan Visser (Roy), Barb Olafsson (Oli) and Cory Paauwe (Becky).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the LaGrave Christian Reformed Church (107 La Grave Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
