He was predeceased by: his parent Elmer Norris. He is survived by: his parent Ruby Norris (Gifford); his wife Bobbi Norris; his children, Dina Connor (Greg) of Milton, MA, Andrea Kessner (Jordan) of Magnolia, TX, David Norris (Tressa) of Baltimore, MD, Darren Brown (Sarah) of Weymouth, MA and Sandra Norris of Queensbury, NY.; and his granddaughters, Katherine Connor, Charlotte Connor, Emma Norris, Mae Norris, Layla Kessner, Penelope Kessner and Abigail Ann Brown.

After being diagnosed with metastatic gastric cancer in 2015, Dave and his wife, Bobbi created the Make a Difference Foundation to support cancer patients through the donation of commercial blanket warmers to treatment centers, so that others could find added comfort as they continued their battle with the disease.
