He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kelley Jeffries; his son Richard Scott; and his stepdaughters, Debbie (Barry) and Beth (Battle).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scott Lake Baptist Church (5811 Scott Lake Rd, Lakeland, FL 33813). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
