He was predeceased by: his father William C. Kranitz. He is survived by: his mother Anna Kranitz (Jankausky); his children, Justin Kranitz (Susan) of Lakeland, FL and Cristin Grey (Darin) of Boca Raton, FL; his siblings, Richard Kranitz (Karen) of Irwin, PA and Linda Brabiner (Tony) of Lakeland, FL; and his grandchildren, Drew, Landon, Gavin, Colby, Cannon, Carson and Avery.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. (106 Main Street, PA-136, Madison, PA 15663). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
