He was predeceased by: his son Ronald Theander; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Jean Theander; his children, Raymond Theander (Leslie), Dorida Rew, Karla Bagdikian (James), Randy Theander (Mei), Dale Maslyn (Joanne) and Keith Maslyn (Sandra); and also, Arlen and Mary. He is also survived by ses 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made in Dean's name to Good Shephard Hospice at 3450 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33805.
